We'll just make a tool!
A wind generation customer brought in a hydraulic manifold for repair. Some of the valve inserts were stuck inside the cavities. The customer had tried several different ways to remove the inserts, without success. They also wanted to change the valve inserts while in the field. Our valve repair division worked with the machine shop to fabricate a custom tool for two different sizes of inserts. The tooling turned out so nice, the customer ordered five sets.
